I carried around a simple line drawing from a newspaper for years because it intrigued me. When I finally used it for this painting I realized it was a drawing of the endocrine system. At the time I had no idea what the endocrine system was. I discovered it is the hormonal system and also the basis for the human aura or chakra field. This painting was giving me a lot of trouble for months until one day, in my studio, I came across a book on the deeper meanings of colors. I read the section on yellow, then got up and finished the painting that day using mostly yellow without being conscious I was doing this. It is now one of the key paintings in my portfolio.
