Cross Circle II

I have often worked with a square format which lends itself to circles, crosses and squares. I like this format because it is less suggestive than a horizontal format, which suggests a landscape, or a vertical format, which suggests the figure. The square is less suggestive and more abstract, giving the viewer more interpretative options. I often create a circular movement in my paintings. This points to an activation of energy fields and toroidal spirals, and therefore a quantum field.
